🌿 Dal Fry Recipe (Restaurant Style)
🛒 Ingredients:
Arhar/Tuvar dal (या moong dal mix) – 1 cup
Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
Tomato – 1 medium (chopped)
Green chili – 1 (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Jeera (cumin seeds) – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Hing – 1 pinch
Dry red chili – 1–2
Curry leaves – 6–8 (optional)
Ghee – 2 tbsp (oil bhi use kar sakte ho)
Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
Salt – taste ke hisaab se

👩🍳 Method:
1. Dal ko boil karo
1 cup dal ko wash karke 2–3 cup paani, ½ tsp haldi, ½ tsp namak dal kar cooker me 3–4 whistle tak soft hone tak pakao.
Thoda mash karke alag rakh do.
2. Masala prepare karo
Kadhai me ghee garam karo.
Jeera, mustard seeds, hing, dry red chili aur curry leaves daalo.
Ab chopped onion daal kar golden brown hone tak bhuno.
3. Tomato aur masala
Ginger garlic paste daal kar 1 min bhuno.
Tomato, mirchi, dhaniya powder, red chili powder daal kar masala ko oil chhootne tak bhuno.
4. Dal mix karo
Ab ubli hui dal daal kar achhi tarah mix karo.
Thoda paani daal kar consistency adjust karo (na zyada patla, na zyada gaadha).
5–7 min tak medium flame par simmer hone do.
5. Finishing
Garam masala aur chopped dhaniya leaves daal kar mix karo.
Upar se ek chhota sa tadka aur bhi dal sakte ho (ghee + garlic + dry red chili).
